I understand the fears and joys of travel. Being a lifelong traveler, I wanted to become a travel advisor to share my passion and expertise with others. I left banking to start as a travel advisor for Liberty Travel 25 years ago. My career in travel has included experience as an agent, guide, sales manager, president of a large active travel company, study abroad executive, and now CEO and owner. I travel multiple times a year to popular trending places that interest my clients, and I make sure trips are designed the way you want and can afford.  

I love to help clients explore Europe and especially Italy. My family comes from a small town in Sicily, and I can trace my family routes for 300 years from this one village. Italy has it all: incredible food, amazing people, wonderful customs, and gorgeous scenery from the sea to the mountains. You can't go wrong. I travel every year to Italy visiting family and discovering another town or region, and I also add another European country. I love sharing my experiences with my clients to help make the most of their trips. 

I love having the opportunity to help clients create unforgettable memories, including a hot air balloon over Tuscany, cycling with a guide in the Tuscan hills, a cooking class making pizza and gelato, a family outing on a yacht in Sicily, an after-hours private visit of the Vatican, and a surprise candlelight dinner for a honeymoon couple in the Dolomites, just to name a few.  

Creating packages and optimizing the flow and design of your trip is essential. I’ll include all the right touches like putting a spa treatment or beach time at the end of your trip and will help maintain a balance of scheduled activities and down time keep you refreshed and full of fond memories. For instance, I always put a stop for lunch in Naples and a 2 hour visit in Pompeii between Rome and Amalfi. I like to use travel days between one town or area from another to explore and for experiences. The transitions should be smooth and effortless. 

As your dedicated advisor, I take care of you from beginning to end, with 24/7 service. I personally take care of cancellations, delays, and emergencies at all hours of the day. Over 25 years, I've seen and handled a lot of issues. I know how to diffuse situations and resolve the situation whatever it may be. Ahead of your trip, I provide you with smart packing ideas, and how to travel with less. I have unique insight to share with my clients having traveled with elderly parents, family, little kids, and on my own. My fearless approach provides comfort to those who are insecure and unaware. For instance, one time a driver didn't show up to pick up my guests at the train station. I told them to take a taxi and to take a photo of the taxi bill so I could reimburse them. When they arrived at the hotel in Sorrento, I had paid for a bottle of wine and snacks to be placed in their room. I love including these special touches to make your trip exceed your expectations.  

When I’m not travelling, I love to practice and teach yoga, read novels, spend time with family and friends, and volunteer at the Francis House, a place that offers comfort care.
